Henry Wiltshire’s newest branch opened in Royal Docks in August. 13 September saw its official opening, and a well-attended launch party put the office firmly on the map.
The launch party
Sales and Lettings Manager Jas Samra is in charge of the Royal Docks office. He was delighted to welcome guests from the development and property investment sectors at the launch party last week. There was also a great turnout from the other Henry Wiltshire offices, with staff from the Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore branches popping in to wish Royal Docks well.
During a speech, Director Kelly Gallagher said, “Henry Wiltshire goes from strength to strength. We’re thrilled to have opened an office in such an important area and we’re looking forward to selling units in some of East London’s most exciting developments.”
It was a fantastic evening, with many people from London’s property sector strengthening their working relationships and laying foundations for new ones. Representatives from Ballymore, Berkley and other developers seized the opportunity for networking – what better way to do business than over drinks and canapés?
Even people living in Waterside Park came down for a drink and to meet their new neighbours!
The office
Another aim of the evening was to showcase the new office space. The Royal Docks office features state of the art display units, which could revolutionise the way Henry Wiltshire sells property in London.
The flat screen televisions in the window of the office show available properties, as you would expect, but they don’t stop there. With so much more property research being done online, there is less need to display flats for sale in estate agents’ windows, and Henry Wiltshire can use the screens to share other relevant information. In addition to giving passers by a flavour of the properties for sale and let, the screens also feature other pages of the Henry Wiltshire website, giving buyers area information, insights into buying and selling property and even the news and weather.
Jas explains, “Not all the information on our display screens is directly related to property. We hope that we’ll be able to connect with people and give something back to the area. One of the features we are working on now is to display the next train to arrive at Pontoon Dock DLR. This will provide real value for local residents even if they aren’t looking to rent or buy property”.
The location
Henry Wiltshire Royal Docks is at the heart of East London’s most prominent regeneration area. Located on the ground floor of the Waterside Park development, Jas and his team have easy access to E16 properties. As well as flats in Waterside Park, the office is also conveniently near to developments such as Compass, Hoola, Endeavour House, Barrier Park and the Royal Victoria Residence.
