Affordable new homes for Hayes

120 new homes will be developed in the area. 97 of these will be affordable.

After standing untouched since 2015, construction work restarted on the 11-storey Blyth Road tower block in April 2018. With an expected completion date of 2020, this development will bring 120 new flats to HayesOf the 120 flats to be developed, 97 of these new homes will be affordable.

A spokesperson for Paradigm says that they “are very pleased to be able deliver 120 much-needed homes for the area”, having appointed a new contractor C Field Construction Limited to complete the development.

Development work has restarted, with expected completion in 2020

Paradigm Housing purchased this site when the previous developers went into administration. Paradigm indicated that EU regulations were responsible for initial delays in continuing the development in 2016. Since then, Paradigm spent some time exploring their options for the site, before  submitted changes to the original planning permission to Hillingdon Council. 

The council granted permission for amendments to the floor plans, elevations and landscaping, and work was able to restart in April 2018 with an expected completion date of 2020.
