Attractiveness of Central London

The developments would see 66,000 homes built a year with 15,000 built on the land which is controlled by the transport authorities

The chairman of the Network Rail invited wealthy partners & developers crucial to these developments on a bus tour around central London. They were brought around the tasty and most attractive sites in the hope of persuading them to invest.

In the last financial year,  22 sites were made available for 3,850 homes. Landowner TFL will release enough land in 2018/19 for up to 4,000 homes working towards the target of 15,000 homes by 2021.

These developments will cover the Vauxhall, Nine Elms, Battersea areas. The vision for new homes, jobs, cultural quarter and linear park will bring new life to an area on the edge of Central London.
