How is the property market in Greenwich?
There are many Georgian and Victorian buildings throughout the town giving it a sense of it’s history and charm. The massive regeneration however has brought with it plenty of new to mix with the old. With an aim of attracting more residents and retail business, the area is undergoing a redevelopment project that includes the refurbishment of the Georgian buildings and the medieval market square.

East of the city you will find a buzzing emerging neighbourhood. It is one with a rich historical background that spans from Royalty through to maritime interests that includes The Cutty Sark. It is the home of Greenwich Observatory, which is the international meridian from which G.M.T takes its reference.
With such a wide history it is no wonder that this place holds real fascination. This interest has grown from one of observation to a sense of complete transformation. The area which in the century gone by was mainly industrial land, is now coming to life as a residential and creative hub. It sits on a bend in the river Thames and provides fantastic views across to Canary Wharf from it’s beautiful park.
This Royal London borough has a lot to offer and with huge ongoing regeneration, Greenwich has become a fantastic location to live as well as visit.
Commuting to & from Greenwich
Greenwich is a very well connected part of the city. Canary Wharf is literally minutes away on the Jubilee line and Waterloo station is just over a ten minute journey. The Jubilee line itself is due to be much less congested soon. There have been plans unveiled to build a pedestrian/cyclist bridge that would make commutes to Canary Wharf much easier.
There are regular boat services to Canary Wharf and Tower Bridge from Greenwich already. You can also travel by car with Blackwell Tunnel giving easy access to the A102 in both directions. You will always be within quick reach of the rest of London.
